Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) is a four-year undergraduate degree programme that prepares students to become professional, registered nurses capable of delivering comprehensive patient care. The curriculum blends strong theoretical foundations with extensive clinical practice across medical, surgical, community, and specialty settings.
Students study anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, community health nursing, and more, while gaining hands-on experience through supervised hospital rotations. Graduates are equipped to work in hospitals, community health centres, and research settings, and to pursue advanced study and leadership roles in the nursing profession.

The B.Sc. Nursing programme is of four (4) years, organised into eight semesters of academic study combined with structured clinical training and supervised hospital postings throughout the course.

Eligibility
Criteria for Admission to B.Sc. Nursing
Passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
A minimum of 45% aggregate marks in PCB (relaxation as per reserved-category norms).
Minimum 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
Medically fit as certified by a registered medical practitioner.

Submit the completed application along with the prescribed fee within the notified deadline.

Selection
Method of Selection & Admission
Selection is made on merit based on qualifying examination marks and/or the prescribed entrance test, followed by counselling. Shortlisted candidates are called for document verification and a personal interview. Admission is confirmed only after verification of original documents, medical fitness and payment of the admission fee, and is subject to seats being available as per the sanctioned intake.
